Jarrolds has been part of the retail offer in Norwich since 1823 when the business moved from Woodbridge in Suffolk where it had been established in 1770. It was originally situated on the opposite side of London Street and moved to part of the current site in 1840.
Since that time, the business has acquired the whole of the ‘block’ fronted by Exchange Street and London Street where the Department Store is situated. Jarrolds also occupies nearby properties with Jarrolds Art & Stationery and The Granary in Bedford Street. Jarrolds also has further branches in Wymondham and Cromer.
The company also has a exciting and ever developing online retail offer.
