The nominations for the award are made by suppliers to the Sports Retailer Industry and include well known brands Nike, Adidas and Asics amongst others. Pilch Sport was awarded the Intersport Retailer of the Year Award for their forward-thinking attitude and willingness to work with brands on new ideas, concepts and merchandise offers. Innovations in the store in 2013 include the Running Lab analyzing running technique and gait, a new Re-stringing machine service and an enhanced Speedo Swim area. Planning is currently underway for a new ‘Boot Room’ area in association with Adidas for 2014.

Intersport has 270 stores in the UK which makes the winning of this award a huge achievement for the staff at the store.
