Community News

Good for Good is an ambitious initiative from Norfolk Community Foundation helping nearly 200 local businesses deliver meaningful social impact across Norfolk.

The Jarrolds Impact Report 2024–25 produced by Norfolk Community Foundation showcases the tangible difference our business helps create across Norfolk, reflecting the deep-rooted commitment we’ve held for generations: to use both our heritage and our resources to strengthen the communities we serve. This year’s report highlights the social value generated through our partnerships, including more than £65,000 contributed to community-focused activity and expert support that has empowered local charities to navigate strategic challenges. By working closely with initiatives like Norfolk Community Foundation’s Good for Good and the Skills Exchange, we’ve helped unlock collaboration, build capacity within the voluntary sector, and connect hundreds of local businesses with opportunities to create meaningful change.

As a family-owned business woven into the fabric of Norwich for over 250 years, Jarrolds understands that impact is built through long-term commitment and not just financial contributions, but shared insight, assets, and support. From providing vital office space that enables frontline charities to thrive, to offering our expertise through programmes such as The Locker Room, this report demonstrates how our values continue to drive positive outcomes for people, places, and the organisations supporting them. The 2024–25 Impact Report provides a transparent look at the progress we’ve made and reaffirms our dedication to helping Norfolk’s communities shine brighter for generations to come.
